Amber Camp

I am an Assistant Professor in Data Science, Analytics, and Visualization at Chaminade University of Honolulu. I specialize in research methods, experimental design, and analysis.

My background is in linguistics and while I enjoy all areas of the field, my primary interests lie in laboratory phonology, phonetics, psycholinguistics, and first and second language acquisition. I am particularly interested in how we use suprasegmental or prosodic cues in real-time word and sentence processing and in NLP and AI applications.

This site serves as both my professional website and a sandbox for class demos and GitHub Pages projects. You might come across some works-in-progress :)
